Catherine Callaghan

Catherine Callaghan is an Irish politician serving as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Carlow–Kilkenny constituency since the 2024 general election. A former member of the Irish Air Corps who served in Lebanon, she is also a farmer, business owner, and special needs assistant. As a member of Fine Gael, she is the first woman to represent her constituency for the party. Callaghan serves on several committees, including Defence and National Security, and has advocated for a national day of appreciation for the Defence Forces while criticizing Ireland's triple lock system.
