Catherine Muyeka Mumma

Catherine Muyeka Mumma is a Kenyan lawyer, human rights advocate, and politician currently serving as a nominated Senator in the Senate of Kenya. A prominent legal expert, she previously served as a commissioner for the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights and the Commission for the Implementation of the Constitution. Before her legislative career, she chaired the National Election Board of the Orange Democratic Movement. In the Senate, she is a member of the Speaker's Panel and focuses on legislative reforms, including the Tobacco Control (Amendment) Bill of 2024.
