Cathy Apourceau-Poly

Cathy Apourceau-Poly is a French politician serving as a Senator for the Pas-de-Calais department since 2018. A member of the French Communist Party, she previously served as a regional councillor for Nord-Pas-de-Calais from 2004 to 2015 and has been a municipal councillor in Avion since 2009. Throughout her career, she has focused on social affairs and labor issues, notably advocating for the implementation of a 32-hour work week to stimulate job creation and economic productivity. She is also active in local administration, having served as the president of the Mission Bassin minier.
