François de Mazières

François de Mazières is a French politician and high-ranking civil servant who has served as the Mayor of Versailles since 2008. A graduate of the Institut d'études politiques de Paris and the École nationale d'administration, he previously held significant roles in the public sector, including as president of the Cité de l'architecture et du patrimoine and as a cultural advisor to the Prime Minister. Throughout his career, he has been a prominent advocate for urban planning, architectural heritage, and cultural decentralization. He also served as a member of the French National Assembly for the first constituency of the Yvelines from 2012 to 2017.
