Cem Avşar is a Turkish politician and businessman currently serving as a member of the 28th Grand National Assembly of Turkey representing Tekirdağ. Born in 1988 in Istanbul, he studied economics in Berlin and at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge. Before entering politics, he worked in the construction and tourism sectors. A former founding member of the Democracy and Progress Party (DEVA), he joined the Republican People's Party (CHP) in July 2025.
