Chandru Lamani is an Indian politician and medical doctor serving as a Member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly for the Shirahatti constituency. Born in 1989, he earned his M.D. in 2018 from the ESI Post Graduate Institute of Medical Science and Research in Bangalore. He entered politics and was elected to the state assembly in 2023 representing the Bharatiya Janata Party. In 2025, he was among a group of BJP MLAs suspended from the assembly for six months following a protest regarding a political controversy.
