Prestone Tynsong is an Indian politician currently serving as the Deputy Chief Minister of Meghalaya, a position he has held since March 2018. A member of the National People's Party since 2017, he has represented the Pynursla constituency in the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly since 2013. Throughout his tenure in the state government, he has held various ministerial portfolios, including Public Works, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary, Housing, Labour, and Parliamentary Affairs. Prior to joining his current party, Tynsong was a member of the Indian National Congress and served as the representative for the Lyngkyrdem constituency starting in 2003.
