Conrad Sangma

Conrad Sangma is an Indian politician serving as the 12th Chief Minister of Meghalaya since 2018. A member of the National People's Party, he previously served as a Member of Parliament for Tura and held various ministerial portfolios in the state government, including Finance and Power. Educated at the Wharton School and Imperial College London, he began his political career in the late 1990s. Beyond his political duties, Sangma is known for his social work through the PA Sangma Foundation and his interest in music, notably playing the electric guitar.
