Charalambos Athanasiou is a Greek politician and former judge serving as a Member of the Hellenic Parliament for Lesvos with the New Democracy party since 2012. He previously held the position of Minister of Justice, Transparency and Human Rights from June 2013 to January 2015. Prior to his political career, he worked as a judge and served as the President of the Union of Judges and Prosecutors of Greece from 2008 to 2012.
