Χαράλαμπος Αθανασίου

Charalampos Athanasiou is a Greek politician and former judge who has served as a Member of the Hellenic Parliament since 2012. A member of the New Democracy party, he previously held the position of Minister of Justice, Transparency and Human Rights from 2013 to 2015. Before entering politics, he had a distinguished career in the judiciary, serving as a judge and later as the President of the Association of Judges and Prosecutors, where he advocated for judicial independence and the modernization of the legal system.
