Dimitris Avramopoulos is a Greek politician and former career diplomat currently serving as a member of the Hellenic Parliament. Throughout his extensive career, he has held numerous high-level positions, including Mayor of Athens, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Minister for National Defence, and Minister of Tourism and Health. He also served as the European Commissioner for Migration, Home Affairs and Citizenship from 2014 to 2019.
