Charan Boro

Charan Boro is an Indian politician currently serving as a Cabinet Minister in the Government of Assam and as a member of the Assam Legislative Assembly representing the Majbat constituency. A member of the Bodoland People's Front, he has held his legislative seat since 2016 and secured his third consecutive victory in the 2026 assembly elections. Boro is a key political figure in the Bodoland region, playing an instrumental role in regional governance and the party's alignment within the National Democratic Alliance.
