Charlie Maynard

Charlie Maynard is a British politician serving as the Member of Parliament for Witney since 2024, becoming the first non-Conservative MP to hold the seat since 1922. Before his parliamentary career, he co-founded the investment advisory firm BDA Partners in 1996 and served on the West Oxfordshire District Council from 2022 to 2024, where he held the role of Executive Member for Planning and Sustainable Development. Maynard is noted for his advocacy on local infrastructure and his high-profile legal challenges against Thames Water regarding their restructuring and debt management plans. He studied geography at Christ Church, Oxford.
