Charlie McConalogue is an Irish politician serving as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Donegal constituency. A member of the Fianna Fáil party, he has held his parliamentary seat since 2011, initially representing Donegal North-East before the constituency boundaries were redrawn. McConalogue previously served as the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine from 2020 to 2025 and as a Minister of State at the Department of Justice. In January 2025, he was appointed as Minister of State at the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport with responsibility for sport and postal policy. Before entering national politics, he worked as a political organizer and managed his family farm in County Donegal.
