Charlie Sheahan is an Australian local government politician currently serving as the Mayor of the Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council in New South Wales. First elected to the council following the 2017 local government elections, he assumed the role of mayor after the 2021 elections. Outside of his political duties, Sheahan has been an active member of the Cootamundra Lions Club for over a decade and serves as a member of the Rural Fire Service Coolac Brigade. He has been a prominent figure in managing the council's transition and demerger processes.
