Charmaine Williams is a Canadian politician currently serving as a Member of Provincial Parliament for Brampton Centre and as the Associate Minister of Women's Social and Economic Opportunity. Elected to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario in 2022, she previously served on the Brampton City Council, where she made history as the first Black woman elected to that body. Throughout her career, Williams has advocated for community safety initiatives, including gun amnesty buyback programs, and has been a prominent figure in the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario.
