Amarjot Sandhu

Amarjot Sandhu is a Canadian politician serving as a Member of Provincial Parliament for the riding of Brampton West. Originally from Punjab, India, he immigrated to Canada as an international student and later worked as a computer engineer, network analyst, and realtor. Elected in 2018, he made history as the first former international student to serve in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. In addition to his legislative duties, he serves as the Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Infrastructure and has held various committee roles, including chairing the Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs.
