Chase Tramont is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Florida House of Representatives for the 30th district, a position he has held since 2022. Before his election to the state legislature, he served on the Port Orange City Council from 2016 to 2022 and worked as a history teacher at Spruce Creek High School. A conservative, Tramont has supported legislation restricting preferred pronouns in schools and voted for a six-week abortion ban. He is a proponent of religious influence in public life and has been a vocal supporter of Governor Ron DeSantis.
