Chen Kuang-fu

Chen Kuang-fu is a Taiwanese politician currently serving as the Magistrate of Penghu County, a position he has held since December 2022, having previously served in the same role from 2014 to 2018. A member of the Democratic Progressive Party, Chen began his political career as a participant in the Tangwai movement and later served as a Kaohsiung City Councilor and a member of the Legislative Yuan. Throughout his career, he has focused on economic development, tourism, and infrastructure projects, including the promotion of local industries and regional connectivity. Chen is known for his advocacy of Penghu's strategic importance within the Taiwan Strait and his efforts to strengthen cultural and educational ties with international partners.
