Chen Yeong-kang

Chen Yeong-kang is a Taiwanese politician and retired admiral who has served as a member of the Legislative Yuan since 2024. A career military officer, he served as the commander of the Republic of China Navy from 2013 to 2015, where he was instrumental in launching the Indigenous Defense Submarine program. Following his military retirement, he served as the Deputy Minister of National Defense for policy. As a legislator representing the Kuomintang, he is a member of the Foreign Affairs and National Defense Committee and has focused on expanding legislative oversight regarding national security powers.
