Hsieh Yi-fong

Hsieh Yi-fong is a Taiwanese economist and politician currently serving as a member of the Legislative Yuan, representing Changhua County's third constituency since 2020. Born in Xizhou, Changhua, she holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Tamkang University, an M.B.A. from De Montfort University in England, and a Ph.D. in economics from National Chengchi University. Before her election, she gained experience working for her mother, Cheng Ru-fen, during her legislative tenure and served on the Central Committee of the Kuomintang. Her academic research has focused on currency and inflation within the European Union.
