Jonathan Lin

Jonathan Lin is a Taiwanese politician currently serving as a member of the Legislative Yuan. Born in Keelung in 1977 to political parents, he pursued extensive academic training in the United States, earning an M.B.A. from Loyola Marymount University, an M.P.A. from the University of Southern California, and a doctorate in public administration from the University of La Verne. Before his election to the Legislative Yuan in 2024, Lin served on the Keelung City Council from 2018, where he also held the position of deputy speaker. Throughout his legislative career, he has focused on issues such as climate change policy, national defense mobilization, and the regulation of the shipping insurance industry. He is a member of the Kuomintang and has been an active participant in national legislative debates regarding constitutional rulings and foreign policy.
