Wu Pei-yi is a Taiwanese politician currently serving as a member of the Legislative Yuan. Born in Keelung in 1987, she became active in student movements, including the Wild Strawberries Movement and the Sunflower Student Movement, during her academic years at National Taiwan University and National Tsing Hua University. Before her election to the Legislative Yuan in 2024, she served on the Taipei City Council from 2018 to 2024. Throughout her political career, she has been a vocal advocate for LGBT rights, gender equality, and data privacy, while maintaining a focus on cross-Strait relations and urban governance.
