Tsai Chi-chang

Tsai Chi-chang is a Taiwanese politician and a member of the Legislative Yuan. Born in Qingshui District, Taichung, he became involved in student activism during the Wild Lily movement while studying at Tunghai University. A member of the Democratic Progressive Party, he was first elected to the Legislative Yuan in 2012 and served as the Deputy Speaker from 2016 to 2024. Beyond his legislative career, he has served as the commissioner of the Chinese Professional Baseball League since 2021, where he oversaw the league's expansion. In 2022, he was sanctioned by the Chinese government for his political stance on Taiwan's sovereignty.
