CHESEBE FRED KAPONDI

Chesebe Fred Kapondi is a Kenyan politician serving as a Member of the National Assembly representing the Mt. Elgon Constituency under the United Democratic Alliance party. He has a long legislative career, having previously served as a Member of Parliament for Mt. Elgon from 2007 to 2013 and from 2017 to 2022, alongside holding chairmanships and leadership roles in various parliamentary committees including the Departmental Committee on Administration and National Security and the Constitution Implementation Oversight Committee. Before his prominent political career, he worked as the Chairman of Postbank from 2014 to 2017.
