She serves as a Member of the State Great Khural and previously held cabinet positions as Minister of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth, as well as Minister of Culture. Before entering public service, she worked extensively in the media and hospitality sectors, founding Mongol HD Television and establishing the Terelj Hotel Ulaanbaatar. Educated at the University of East Anglia with a degree in economics and accounting, she has also been active in international cultural cooperation and media regulation initiatives.
