Chipalo Street

Chipalo Street is an American politician and software engineer currently serving as a member of the Washington House of Representatives for the 37th district. Elected in November 2022, he assumed office in January 2023. Prior to his legislative career, Street worked as a software engineer at Microsoft, contributing to projects such as Windows Presentation Foundation, Silverlight, and Microsoft Azure. He also served as a principal program manager in the office of the CTO. Street holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Master of Science in computer science from Brown University and is a former professional soccer referee.
