Chiquinho Brazão is a former Brazilian politician and businessman who served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies. He began his political career as a city councilor in Rio de Janeiro, serving multiple terms between 2004 and 2018. In 2024, he was arrested on charges of ordering the 2018 assassination of councilwoman Marielle Franco. His parliamentary mandate was revoked in April 2025, and in February 2026, he was convicted by the Supreme Federal Court and sentenced to over 76 years in prison.
