Christopher Elmore

Christopher Elmore is a British Labour Party politician serving as the Member of Parliament for Bridgend since 2024. Previously, he represented Ogmore from 2016 to 2024. In September 2025, he was appointed Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State in the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, having previously served as Comptroller of the Household. Before his parliamentary career, Elmore worked as a trainee butcher and in further education, and served as a councillor for the Vale of Glamorgan. He is known for his focus on youth engagement and rail infrastructure in Wales.
