Steve Reed

Steve Reed is a British politician serving as the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government since September 2025. A member of the Labour and Co-operative Party, he has represented the constituency of Streatham and Croydon North as a Member of Parliament since 2012. Previously, he served as the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and held various shadow cabinet positions. Before entering national politics, Reed was the leader of the Lambeth London Borough Council, where he was recognized for his efforts in local government reform and public service improvement.
