Chris Janssens

Chris Janssens is a Belgian politician serving as a member of the Flemish Parliament and as the floor leader for the Vlaams Belang party. Born in Genk, he has held a seat in the Flemish Parliament since 2009 and has served as a city councilor in Genk since 2007. Before entering politics, he worked as a notary public officer. Janssens is often described as a moderate within his party and made history in 2021 by becoming the first openly gay representative of Vlaams Belang.
