Chris Rennard, Baron Rennard

Christopher John Rennard, Baron Rennard, is a British life peer and politician who has served in the House of Lords since 1999. A prominent figure in the Liberal Democrats, he previously held the roles of Director of Campaigns and Elections and Chief Executive, where he was widely credited for the party's electoral successes and by-election victories during the 1990s and 2000s. In the House of Lords, he has focused on constitutional reform, electoral law, and public health issues, including diabetes and smoking prevention. He is a former recipient of the MBE for his political service.
