Christian Cambon

Christian Cambon is a French politician and a long-serving member of the French Senate representing the Val-de-Marne department. First elected to the Senate in 2004, he has held significant leadership roles, including serving as the president of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense and the Armed Forces. Before his national parliamentary career, he served as the mayor of Saint-Maurice for nearly three decades. A member of The Republicans, Cambon is known for his active involvement in international parliamentary diplomacy, particularly regarding relations with Morocco, and his work on defense and intelligence oversight.
