Vincent Louault

Vincent Louault is a French politician and farmer who has served as a Senator for Indre-et-Loire since September 2023. Before his election to the Senate, he was the mayor of Cigogné and president of the Bléré-Val de Cher community of communes. A cattle and cereal farmer by trade, Louault is known for his advocacy for agricultural deregulation, including efforts to authorize certain pesticides and his support for free-trade agreements like CETA. He has also been a vocal critic of environmental regulations regarding plastic usage, arguing that such measures hinder French economic competitiveness.
