Christian Girard

Christian Girard is a French politician who has served as a member of the National Assembly for the 1st constituency of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence since 2022. A member of the National Rally, he has also held a seat on the Regional Council of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur since 2021. Within the National Assembly, he serves on the Committee on National Defence and the Armed Forces. Prior to his election to parliament, Girard served as the departmental leader for his party in Alpes-de-Haute-Provence starting in 2018 and unsuccessfully contested seats in the 2017 legislative and 2021 departmental elections.
