Jean-Claude Anglars

Jean-Claude Anglars is a French politician serving as a Senator for the Aveyron department since 2020. Before his election to the Senate, he held various local offices, including serving as the mayor of Sébrazac from 1995 to 2020 and as a vice-president of the Aveyron departmental council. Throughout his career, he has been involved in regional governance and public safety, notably presiding over the Aveyron fire and rescue service (SDIS). In the Senate, he has participated in significant legislative debates, including voting in favor of enshrining the right to abortion in the French Constitution in 2024.
