Jean-Carles Grelier

Jean-Carles Grelier is a French politician and lawyer who has served as a member of the National Assembly for the 5th constituency of Sarthe since 2017. A specialist in healthcare policy, he is a member of the Social Affairs Committee. Throughout his career, he has held various local offices, including serving as the mayor of La Ferté-Bernard from 2008 to 2017 and as a departmental councilor for Sarthe. Originally associated with the center-right, he has evolved politically, eventually joining the Les Démocrates group following the 2024 dissolution of the National Assembly. He is also an author, having published works on the future of the French healthcare system and the state of modern democracy.
