Nicolas Sansu is a French politician and a member of the French Communist Party (PCF). He has served multiple terms as a deputy for the Cher department in the National Assembly, first elected in 2012 and returning to the seat in 2022 and 2024. Prior to his parliamentary career, he served as the mayor of Vierzon from 2008 to 2022. Throughout his career, Sansu has focused on issues such as public health, particularly the preservation of local hospital services, and fiscal policy, serving as a co-rapporteur on tax fraud within the finance committee. He holds a degree in economics and has been active in student and parliamentary politics since the late 1980s.
