Marc Fesneau

Marc Fesneau is a French politician currently serving as a Member of the National Assembly for the Loir-et-Cher department and as the president of the Les Démocrates group. A long-time member of the Democratic Movement (MoDem), he previously held significant government roles, including Minister of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty from 2022 to 2024 and Minister Delegate for Relations with Parliament from 2018 to 2022. Before his national political career, he served as the mayor of Marchenoir and held various local government positions in the Centre-Val de Loire region. Fesneau is known for his focus on agricultural policy and parliamentary relations, and he has been a prominent figure within the presidential majority since 2017.
