Christian Stocker

Christian Stocker is an Austrian politician serving as the Chancellor of Austria since March 2025. A member of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP), he previously served as a member of the National Council from 2019 to 2025 and as the party's secretary-general. Before his national political career, Stocker held various local government positions in Wiener Neustadt, including deputy mayor. He is a lawyer by profession and has been a prominent figure in the ÖVP, leading the party through complex coalition negotiations to form the current government.
