Christine Tartaglione is an American politician serving as a member of the Pennsylvania State Senate, representing the 2nd District since 1995. A member of the Democratic Party, she currently serves as the Minority Whip and holds leadership roles on several committees, including Labor and Industry. Throughout her tenure, she has been a prominent advocate for labor rights, minimum wage increases, and disability services. Following a severe boating accident in 2003 that resulted in a spinal cord injury, she underwent extensive rehabilitation and returned to the Senate floor in 2010.
