Christof Bolay is a German politician and the Lord Mayor of the city of Ostfildern, a position he has held since 2005. Born in 1968 in Heilbronn, he studied literature and political science after completing his civil service in Stuttgart. Before his election as mayor, he worked in the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economic Affairs and served in the federal office of the Social Democratic Party (SPD). Bolay has been re-elected multiple times, most recently in 2021. He is known for his administrative leadership and his role in chairing the aircraft noise commission.
