Christoph Schmid

Christoph Florian Schmid is a German politician representing the Social Democratic Party (SPD). He has served as a member of the Bundestag since 2021, representing the Donau-Ries constituency. Within the German parliament, he is an active member of the Defence Committee and the Committee on Economic Cooperation and Development. Additionally, he serves as part of the German delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe. Beyond his legislative duties, he contributes to the academic community as a member of the Board of Trustees at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Augsburg.
