Cirsten Kunz

Cirsten Kunz is a German politician and a member of the Landtag of Hesse, representing the Social Democratic Party (SPD). Born in Wetzlar in 1981, she has been active in local politics, serving in the Aßlar city council and the Lahn-Dill district council, where she previously held the position of parliamentary group leader. Before entering the state parliament in January 2024 as a successor to Christoph Degen, she worked as a scientific assistant for Bundestag member Dagmar Schmidt. Kunz has been a dedicated party member, having previously run as a candidate in the 2018 and 2023 state elections.
