Christoph Zarits is an Austrian politician and a member of the National Council. Born in Eisenstadt, he has been active in local politics since 2002, serving as a municipal councilor in Zagersdorf and as deputy mayor from 2007 to 2018. Within the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP), he has held several leadership roles, including serving as the General Secretary of the Austrian Workers' and Employees' Federation (ÖAAB) from 2018 to 2025. In October 2025, he was elected as the state party chairman of the ÖVP Burgenland.
