Cheol-gyu Lee is a South Korean politician and former police officer currently serving as a three-term member of the National Assembly. After a distinguished career in the police force, where he rose to the rank of Commissioner of the Gyeonggi Provincial Police Agency, he entered politics and was first elected in 2016. A member of the conservative People Power Party, he has held significant leadership roles within the party, including Secretary-General and Chairman of the Strategy and Planning Committee. He is known for his extensive legislative work in industrial, trade, and energy sectors, currently chairing the Trade, Industry, Energy, SMEs and Startups Committee.
