정청래

Chung-rae Jung is a prominent South Korean politician serving as a four-term member of the National Assembly representing Mapo-gu, Seoul. A key figure in the Democratic Party of Korea, he has held various leadership roles, including Senior Supreme Council member and chair of the Legislation and Judiciary Committee. Before his political career, he was an educator and activist. Known for his vocal advocacy of progressive policies and party discipline, he has been a central, albeit sometimes controversial, figure within the liberal political bloc in South Korea since his initial election in 2004.
