Cian O'Callaghan

Cian O'Callaghan is an Irish politician serving as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Dublin Bay North constituency since 2020. A founding member of the Social Democrats, he currently serves as the party's deputy leader and spokesperson on Finance, Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform, and Digitalisation. Previously, he was a member of Fingal County Council from 2009 to 2020, where he became Ireland's first openly gay mayor in 2012. Throughout his career, O'Callaghan has been a vocal advocate for housing reform, construction standards, and addressing homelessness.
