Cláudia Maria Cruz Santos is a Portuguese politician and academic who has served as a member of the Assembly of the Republic since 2019, representing the Aveiro constituency. A member of the Socialist Party, she currently acts as the party's coordinator on the parliamentary Committee on Constitutional Affairs, Rights, Liberties and Guarantees. Beyond her political career, she is a professor and researcher at the University of Coimbra, specializing in legal and criminal sciences. She has contributed extensively to legal literature and is also a published novelist.
