Ricardo Miguel Furtado Pinheiro is a Portuguese politician and electrical engineer currently serving as the President of the Commission for Coordination and Regional Development (CCDR) of the Alentejo since February 2026. Previously, he served as a member of the Assembly of the Republic representing the Portalegre constituency and held the position of Secretary of State for Planning from 2020 to 2022. His earlier political career includes three consecutive terms as the mayor of Campo Maior from 2009 to 2019. Throughout his career, Pinheiro has focused on regional development, territorial cohesion, and public policy.
